A Nazi Victory?
Could Hitler Have Won?
In the latest episode of The Forge, I travelled to Belgravia to meet Lord Andrew Roberts, one of the world’s finest historians, to talk through the counterfactual possibilities of three epic moments in military history: the American Revolution, the Napoleonic Wars, and the Second World War.
Could Britain have brought the rebel American Colonies to heel after the Declaration of Independence? Should Napoleon have refrained from invading Russia in 1812 or adopted an alternative strategy? And is there a plausible version of events in which the Nazis emerge triumphant from the Second World War?

All our problems today flow from declaring war on Germany as it was heading East completely in the opposite direction to us.
Good book is Churchill Hitler and the Unnecessary War by Patrick Buchanan.
